Pain and suffering are among the most universal human experiences. It's not a question of if we will face trouble in our lives, it's a question of when. Jesus told us as much when he said, "In this world we will have trouble," but he didn't leave it at that. Through his death, resurrection and ascension, Christ has overcome the world and can transform even the deepest pain into experiences of meaning, growth and hope if we see things through the eyes of faith and submit to his loving hand.
